What is spiritual Coaching?
We can bring out the best in ourselves only when we go beyond thinking about our personality and outer self and start to work on the deeper aspects of our soul. By doing this, we can experience more joy and satisfaction. To me, spirituality means being aware that we are more than we think we are. It is characterised by allowing ourselves to discover rich inner experiences that can be released when we come face to face with previously unknown aspects of our personality and soul.
How does spiritual coaching work?
By aligning with your soul or higher self (a higher or more developed aspect of one’s personality) I can usually see very quickly where the problems lie and can offer solutions that are in sync with your deeper inner nature. Solutions on the level of the Ego can be argued rationally, but don’t usually correspond to your emotional state; this other ‘you’ can often be masked by long held and/or deep hidden beliefs that you are not aware of. This higher self has the answer to every problem and is aware of a lot more than the Ego.
Getting in touch with your higher self involves a feeling of great love, understanding and friendship. When a client tells me about other people that are involved in a problem, I also connect with them and can immediately sense their emotions, thoughts or perceptions.
The Outcomes
Clients are usually surprised, and also grateful, because I can sense things so fast. It doesn’t require a lot of arduous talk and analysis to achieve this connection with your deep, spiritual self; it needs us only to tune into the higher senses. In many sessions, I find that after only a few introductory sentences, I can already get a feel for the situation. The rest of the session allows a client to listen, feeling at ease and sensing the effects of my work in relaxing their body.
In this way, it’s easy to achieve positive results, which, for the most part, is the result of our developing the right chemistry. Of course, for this to work smoothly, a client needs to be willing and open to these methods and prepared to get deeply involved.
